Pre Patch Labs Return & Refund Policy
Effective Date: April 29th 2026
At Pre Patch Labs, every custom controller and repair service is handled with care and built to the customer’s specifications. Please review our policy carefully before placing an order.
Custom Controller Orders
All custom controller builds are made-to-order and production begins after payment is received.
Because of the custom nature of these products:
- All sales on custom-built controllers are final
- Orders cannot be canceled once parts have been ordered or work has started
- Refunds will not be issued for change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or preference changes after purchase
If you need to request a change to your order, contact us within 24 hours of purchase. Changes are not guaranteed once processing begins.
Repair Services
For controller repair services:
- Customers are responsible for shipping their controller to Pre Patch Labs unless otherwise agreed
- Once diagnostic work or repairs begin, service payments are non-refundable
- If a repair cannot be completed, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion (excluding diagnostic fees and any parts already used)
Warranty Coverage
Pre Patch Labs offers a 60-day workmanship warranty on repair services and custom installations.
This warranty covers:
- Installation defects
- Workmanship-related issues
- Functionality issues directly related to the service performed
This warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage
- Liquid damage
- User misuse or abuse
- Accidental drops or impact damage
- Future stick drift caused by normal wear
- Third-party modifications after service
- Smoke or tar damage (including nicotine residue, smoke exposure, or contamination caused by smoking environments)
Defective or Damaged Orders
If your order arrives damaged or has a verified defect:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photos/videos of the issue
- We may offer repair, replacement, or store credit depending on the situation
Return Eligibility
Returns are only accepted if:
- The wrong item was sent
- The item arrives non-functional due to workmanship issues
- The issue is reported within the warranty period
Returned products must be:
- In original condition
- Unmodified after delivery
- Returned with proof of purchase
Shipping Policy for Returns
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the issue is caused by our error.
Pre Patch Labs is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments. Tracking is strongly recommended.
Chargebacks & Fraud Prevention
By purchasing from Pre Patch Labs, you agree to these terms.
Fraudulent chargebacks for completed custom work or repair services will be disputed with order records, build documentation, shipping confirmation, and communication history.
